Easter Food Drive for the Food bank was a success! Thank you.

Local Fire & Emergency Services men and women and Sobeys Port Colborne  collected food for the Port Cares food bank on March 24th & 26th. Sobeys Store Manager Grant Jennings and members of Fire and Emergency Services Port Colborne  raised $4660.00 and 1518.5 pounds of food on Easter Weekend thanks to the generosity of local shoppers who filled the fire fighters boots with cash and their  truck with food.

Easter Food Drive on March 24th & 26th at Sobeys.

Are you looking for a way to give back to your community this Easter? Join your local Fire & Emergency Services men and women and Sobeys Port Colborne as they collect food for the Port Cares food bank on March 24th & 26th. Sobeys Store Manager Grant Jennings and members of Fire and Emergency Services Port Colborne  will be collecting food donations this Thursday and Saturday at the Store location as a way to give back to the community this Easter.

Please come on out and join us as there will be music, a BBQ as well as a visit from Sparky.  Thank you to everyone for their tremendous  support!

Easter Food Drive Port Cares

SoupFest April 7 2016 2016 – The Soups are On!

On April 7th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Italian Hall you will be able to sample the most amazing recipes from the Culinary students at both Port Colborne High Schools, Niagara College and a team of staff and volunteers from the Port Cares Reach Out Centre.

Who are these brave folks who will be cooking for over 200 people? Each week we will  feature a different team. Want to know what they will be cooking up for you? Well it is a secret and it will be delicious….so come on out and support them! Tickets are $15.00 for all you can eat and available at Port Cares or at the door. Missing from the photo is Ethan Scott who recently placed for best tasting soup at the DSBN Culinary Skills Challenge last week.
