Pancake Brunch on Feb. 7th a success thanks to our generous community.

Thank you to our generous donors, guests, volunteers and staff for their support of our 5th annual Pancake Brunch. Over 233 meals were served, which is 100 more than the last year. Over $2000 was raised and these funds will go towards housing initiatives and client services at Port Cares. A portion of the sales of the toques will also go the the national “Raising the Roof ” campaign to raise awareness and find solutions to homelessness nationwide.

Thank you again to everyone involved in making this event possible. Because of your kindness we can continue to seek solutions and offer assistance to the 100 individuals in our community that are facing homelessness every year. If you know some one who is in need, please contact our housing coordinator David Anderson for assistance at our 92 Charlotte Street location. 905-834-3629.
