The 3rd Annual Pancake Brunch at the Port Cares Reach Out Food Centre was held to raise awareness about homelessness that can strike anywhere, even here in Port Colborne. In our community alone Port Cares operates both a food bank and transitional housing program. Did you know that 20% of Canada’s homeless are young people ages 16-24 and that Families with kids are the fastest-growing group in the homeless population?
We know you care because you came out today despite the cold to support our Pancake Brunch at the Reach Out Food Centre and helped us raise $1520.00! We could not have done that without your support and the support of our wonderful volunteers and generous donors. A special thank you goes out to ADM Milling,Country Corner Market,DJ’s Roadhouse,Lakeshore Catholic High School,Bell Marine,Sew Be It by Laura and Something Else.
Together we can make a difference. Thank You! More images
