Community Access


What Is CAP?
The Community Access Program (CAP) is a Government of Canada initiative, administered by Industry Canada, which aims to provide Canadians with affordable public access to the Internet and the skills they need to use it effectively.

Where and When do I go?
Located at Port Cares, the location at 92 Charlotte Street, Port Colborne is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with extended hours to 8:00pm on Thursdays.

Use of computers is on a first come, first served basis.

What is available to me?
There are six computers with a connection to the Internet.
Every computer has a word processor installed and is connected to a high quality laser printer.

How much does it cost?
Nothing at all. Computer and Internet access to the public is free of charge.
