Welcome to the Port Cares Food Bank! We are located at 61 Nickel Street and serve the communities of Port Colborne and Wainfleet. Port Cares relies on the generous support of volunteers and donations from private citizens and businesses to operate this vital service in our community and your donations are always welcome. You can reach us at 905-835-1914. Food donations are accepted Monday - Thursday from 9am to 4pm.
The Food Bank is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12:30pm to 3:30pm
If you need emergency food and support, we are here to help you. You can come to either our 61 Nickel Street or 92 Charlotte Street location anytime Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 4:30pm for emergency assistance and crisis support.

How often can I use the Food Bank?
Once you are a member, you can visit us once per month and shop our food shelves for basics.
Every week you can pick up bread and fruits and vegetables when available.
What do I bring?
Please bring your ID and grocery bags with you. If you are visiting us for the first time please bring ID for yourself and any dependants, a stub or proof of any income source, proof of rent and other bills to become a member.
What about the lunch kits for my kids?
You can pick up a lunch kit every week (during the school year) for each school age child. The kits contain enough bread, sandwich items, fresh fruit, granola bars etc. to make enough lunches for the entire week.
